Holiday Pot Roast

If you haven’t had Paula Deen’s pot roast, plan to make it next weekend! You can prepare the ingredients in advance and freeze them, then throw them all in your slow cooker and let it cook overnight. Taste it every once in awhile just to enjoy every moment of happiness…

Ingredients:

  • 1 small chuck roast

  • 2 carrots – cut into thick slices

  • 2 celery stalks – cut into thin slices

  • 1 cup red onion – cut into small pieces

  • 3 cloves garlic – crushed

  • 1 can white cream of mushroom soup

  • 2 Tbs butter

  • 1 dallop of sour cream

  • ¼ cup red wine (Merlot)

  • 1 cube beef bouillon

  • 2 Tbs Worcesterschire sauce

  • 1 tsp pink Himalayan salt – freshly ground

  • 1 tsp black peppercorns – freshly ground

Directions:
Put everything into your Crock Pot/slow cooker and cook on High overnight. Don’t be scared. Your family and friends are going to be impressed.
