Bacon-Infused White Asparagus
OK, so we don’t really know how to infuse vegetables with bacon flavor, but this really tastes like it was. Pictured here with roasted carrots.
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch white asparagus 
- Olive oil 
- Salt and white pepper 
- Applewood chips 
Equipment:
- Pressure smoker such as InstaPot or Emson Pressure Smoker 
Directions:
- Preheat oven to Lo Broil. 
- Trim ends off the white asparagus, then place in baking dish. 
- Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and white pepper. 
- Place in oven for about 10 min or until the ends are just starting to blacken. 
- Place applewood chips and 1 cup water in the bottom of your pressure smoker. 
- Move asparagus to the top tray of pressure smoker and hot smoke for 10 min.
