How to Eat Low-Carb

If your friends or family are insistent on getting unhealthy burger takeout, you can still join them! All you need is this secret: these great old-fashioned small paper sandwich bags (not lunch bags) that we found at Whole Foods. The best thing about them is that you can take your burgers, throw the bun out, stuff the burger and mile-high toppings into the bag and it holds your layers of goodness so that you can get it in your mouth. Also, you can then just roll the top of the bag over and throw it in the fridge when you’re full, if you want to save the leftovers.

For burritos or chalupas, open the tortilla, scoop out the good insides into either a big piece of Romaine or  Bibb lettuce, then roll and tuck it into your old-fashioned paper bag and you’re good to scarf away.

For tacos or taco salad, just eat it with a fork and throw the shell away… For enchiladas, dissect it open and eat the ooey goodness with a spoon and throw the tortilla (and rice) away.
