Book Review: “Salt Fat Acid Heat”
I love this book by Samin Nosrat (and the art by Wendy MacNaughton) because it can elevate you from a home cook to a home chef. It makes you think about food in a new way so that you can create your own recipes. The art is so fun, it makes you want to read more. It teaches you techniques, such as the 3 ways to cut an onion and how to make the best croutons you’ve ever tasted. It also has lists of “The World of Flavor” which shows you if you want to cook a Mediterranean vs a Brazilian dish, which group of spices you should use. It also has a bunch of great recipes.
