Lamb Kafta Masala

If you are craving a nice Mediterranean meal, but don’t know how to cook a rack of lamb, this easy recipe will make you happy…

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz ground lamb

  • 1 Tbsp Garam Masala seasoning (can be found online or at Whole Foods)

  • ½ tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp garlic paste (or 1 chopped garlic clove)

  • 1 Tbsp pink Himalayan salt – freshly ground

  • ½ tsp black peppercorns – freshly ground

  • 3 Tbs extra light olive oil

  • ¾ cup heavy cream

  • Cherry tomatoes – optional

  • Kalamata olives – optional

Directions:

  1. Place olive oil in pan and heat on medium-high (#7) until shimmering.

  2. Add ground lamb and spices and brown.

  3. Once meat is browned, add heavy cream and let simmer until desired consistency.

  4. If desired cut and Low broil cut cherry tomatoes and olives to dress the masala.
