Au Jus

Have you ever wanted to make a roast beef sandwich and dip it into homemade au jus, but didn’t spend hours cooking the roast beef and don’t have the cracklings or juices from that to make au jus. Well, you don’t need to. And it only takes three minutes. (BTW, the garlic powder is the secret that makes it addictive).

Ingredients:

1 cup filtered water

1 beef bouillon cube

1 Tbs soy sauce (we like Sushi Chef)

1 tsp garlic powder

Directions:

  • Heat water and beef bouillon in a cup in the microwave for 2 min.

  • Stir to ensure beef bouillon cube is dissolved, being careful not to burn yourself.

  • Stir in soy sauce and garlic powder.

  • Dip bread or sandwich at your pleasure.
